Xen Server how to connect ISO image for host installation

Questa me la segno una volta per tutte, ecco i passi da seguire per ottenere una libreria remota o locale di immagini ISO utilizzabili per l’installazione dei vari host:

Configurare l’export NFS:

echo "/var/opt/xen/iso_import *(rw,no_root_squash,sync)" > /etc/exports

Avviare i demoni NFS:

service nfs start
service portmap start

Configurare i demoni NFS per partire automaticamente:

chkconfig --level 345 nfs on
chkconfig --level 345 portmap on

Montare il repository in modo che sia disponibile come “DVD drive”:

xe-mount-iso-sr 127.0.0.1:/var/opt/xen/iso_import
